Dr. Yen graduated from Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong in 1994. He received his orthopaedic training in Kwong Wah Hospital since 1995. He received MRCS (Ed), FHKCOS, FHKAM (Orthopaedic Surgery), FHKCOS (Rehabilitation), FRCSEd (Ortho), Certified Independent Medical Examiner (American Board of Independent Medical Examiner, American Medical Association), MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation (CUHK), Executive Certificate in Mediation and workplace conflict, and HKMAAL Stage 2 assessment Hong Kong Institute of Arbitration Centre. He had training in Prolotherapy, PRP and stem cell treatment and RMSK? registered in Musculoskeletal? sonography. He was admitted to JD (CUHK).

Dr. Yen had training in Cancun, Guatalajara, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Rochester, Netherland, Germany, Korea, Niigata, Tokyo, Yokohama, Sendai, Singapore, Shanghai, Tsing Tao, Beijing, Bangkok, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Dr. Yen had published widely in journals about spine, hand and rehabilitation. He was an Accelerated Free Fall, an Advanced PADI and an R22 Solo. Dr. Yen is currently a specialist in Orthopaedics & Traumatology in private practice in Hong Kong. He is appointed Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong; Honorary Associate Consultant, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong; Vice-Chairman of Rehabilitation Sub-specialty Board; Lecturer for the Dedicated CME Programme for Non-fellows, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine; Honorary Medical Consultant, the Hong Kong Workers¡¦ Health Centre; Honorary Staff of Medical Services Centres of TWGHs; Honorary Clinical Supervisor, the Hong Kong College of Family Physician; Reviewer of Hong Kong Medical Journal and Journal of Orthopaedics Trauma and Rehabilitation.
