Dr. Christina Cheng trained as an anaesthesiologist and later has also worked as pain physician.
She is the supervisor of training of Multidisciplinary Pain Management Unit, Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, where she seeks accreditation as pain medicine fellowship training center of the Faculty
of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand Collegue of Anaesthetist (FPMANZCA) since 2020.
She obtained her anaesthetist fellowship from Hong Kong College of Anaesthetist (HKCA) and
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetist (ANZCA) since 2015. She has overseas pain
fellowship training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth during 2017.
She earned Pain Medicine
Fellowship of both HKCA and FPMANZCA at the same year.
She serves on the editorial board as editor in chief of Hong Kong Pain Society Newsletter since
2020. Her professional interests include multimodal acute pain management, interventional pain
management for chronic pain and cancer pain.
